FOCUSMASTER BEGINNINGS

Focusmaster was created in 1995  in Troy, NY. Founders Marty Keary and Jim Pettit were into boxing and martial arts and saw a need for a piece of striking equipment that would allow them to train without a partner holding focus mitts. This led them to the creation of the Focusmaster G-1000 Striking Machine.

In 1997, Gene Coletti joined the team and helped refine the product. In 2011, Kyle Coletti, Gene's son, took the reins, bringing a new level of energy and innovation to Focusmaster. He combined his love for fitness and boxing with the Focusmaster equipment to create a world-class 30-minute group workout experience for people of all ages and fitness levels. Focusmaster equipment and workout program gained national recognition for winning the TV show, Sweat Inc. on Spike.

Today Focusmaster can be found in boxing gyms, martial arts schools, military training centers, and fitness centers worldwide. Driven by a passion to provide the best workout experience, Focusmaster continues to lead the industry with its innovative approach to fun, addictive and result-focused fitness.

Meet  Kyle

Kyle Coletti is the creator of the Focusmaster workout and a fitness enthusiast who left his career on Wall Street to pursue his passion.

Being a long-time fan of boxing and kickboxing workouts, he saw an opportunity to transform the traditional boxing class experience by offering shorter, more personalized classes with simplified techniques and in a super motivating atmosphere.

He combined a HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training) format that included strength training and striking on the innovative Focusmaster G-1000 Striking Machine which provided a fun, effective and result-driven workout that fit into even the busiest schedules.

Kyle wanted to help people who struggled with losing weight, staying fit and leading a healthy lifestyle.

Kyle Coletti of Focusmaster Fitness

Represented by their motto, "Fight For It," is a mindset encouraging people to be committed and determined towards their goals even in the face of adversity. This gives people of all ages and fitness levels the same drive to become better than they are today.

His passion and expertise has providing him with opportunities to create boxing-inspired workout programs for popular gym chains around the world.

Kyle won a national TV show on Spike TV called Sweat Inc. and was crowned "America's Next Fitness Phenomenon." He co-wrote the Amazon best-seller "The Successful Body" and has been featured in Men's Fitness and Women's Health.

His passion for helping people achieve their fitness goals has only grown over the years and believes that he is just scratching the surface of the lives it will be able to impact in the future. Kyle is married with two young boys and lives in Clifton Park, NY.
